The temples are an area often overlooked despite the dramatic difference they can make to our overall appearance.

Youthful appearance is characterised by convex or slightly rounded temples, complementing full and prominent cheekbones –

the foundation of the ‘heart-shaped face’.

With age, the natural fat pads and collagen scaffold which give us these desirable features break down, resulting in a hollowed-out and sunken appearance.

By replacing the lost volume with fillers in the temples and the cheeks, we can reverse the sunken and tired look and restore a more youthful and refreshed appearance. These treatments are often most effective in combination with tear trough (under-eye) augmentation.
