MARIONETTE LINES

Marionette lines are folds that run from the corners of the mouth to either side of the chin.

These can be caused by repetitive facial expressions and as part of the ageing process; reduced collagen/ elastin production and loss of volume. Marionette lines can be softened with dermal fillers replacing lost volume and improving skin texture and flexibility.

Most types of dermal filler are composed of Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid naturally exists within the skin and it’s what helps give the face volume, shape, hydration and elasticity.

Dermal fillers can be injected into the skin to add volume to areas of the face which have lost their support and can also be used for facial re-contouring to improve facial features and rebalance profiles.

As skin ages, our natural supply of Hyaluronic acid, elastin and collagen, which all help shape and support the face, depletes. This loss of volume results in sagging skin and changes to facial contours.
